Ukraine

Ukraine is a country in Eastern Europe known for its rich history, cultural heritage and picturesque landscapes. The capital is Kyiv, the official language is Ukrainian, and the currency is the hryvnia. The main religion in Ukraine is Orthodox Christianity, in particular the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, but Catholicism, Protestantism, and other religions are also practiced in the country. Popular tourist destinations include the historical monuments of Kyiv, such as St. Sophia Cathedral and Kyiv Lavra, as well as the picturesque Carpathian Mountains, the Crimean Mountains, and numerous castles, such as Kamianets-Podilskyi Castle.
