On this trip, we will go through a water purification ceremony, have lunch overlooking the volcano and personally communicate with the main monk of Bali.
We are going to Besakih, the largest and oldest temple in Bali, the real heart of the island at the foot of Mount Agung, and for the Balinese this place is the holiest on the island.
Our main goal is to have a private conversation with the main monk Mangku Jati, the local seer and guardian of the temple.
We will go through a traditional ceremony in the temple, after which Jati will talk to everyone personally, give advice and answer important questions, so we advise you to formulate your request in advance.
Before that, we will have a purification ceremony at Sebatu – a sacred melukat ritual during which believers immerse themselves in healing springs to wash away negative energy, purify the spirit and receive a blessing.
On the way, we have lunch at a panoramic restaurant overlooking Batur.
