Helicopter flight over the islands
Lakes, cliffs, and waterfalls falling straight into the ocean. Twenty minutes above an archipelago that most people only see through an airplane window. One flight — and the entire Faroe Islands unfold beneath you.
Accommodations
A village of sixteen residents on the western edge of the island. Until 2004, there was no road here: the only connection with the outside world was a trail over a 400-meter-high mountain — the postman walked it three times a week, in any weather. Then a tunnel was built. Almost nothing else has changed.
Our cottages stand right at the edge. Wood, a large window overlooking the ocean, silence where you can hear the waterfall. A few minutes’ walk away, it drops from the cliffs straight into the Atlantic — the same view people travel from around the world to see. For us, it’s outside the window every morning.
In the morning, fog settles over the village; in the evening, the sun disappears behind the island across the water. Sheep wander beneath the windows. This is not a hotel — it is our home for a week. Coffee on the doorstep, ocean wind, and nowhere to rush. Simple luxury.

Taste of the Islands
There are no forests, fields, or greenhouses here. For centuries, food came only from the ocean and sheep, and the only way to preserve it was with the wind — meat and fish were hung in wooden sheds and left to mature for half a year. From this hardship grew a cuisine that people now travel to experience on its own: lamb, fish, fermentation, and not a single unnecessary ingredient.
The most interesting part, however, happens not in restaurants. It is called heimablídni: you sit at a table in someone’s home, the host brings out lamb from their own pasture, and tells stories of how people lived here before the tunnel was built. The same sheep graze outside the window. There is one table. Only as many guests as the room can hold.
An elderly man in a village of fifteen houses bakes waffles and brews coffee in his own kitchen. An old shop has become a café, and the original shelves are still standing inside. A chef who once cooked for the royal guard now prepares meals for fishermen in a valley reached by a single road.
Every place has been personally selected — for its taste, its character, and its story.

It is no coincidence that the Faroes are called the “Sheep Islands.” More than 70,000 sheep roam freely among green hills, dramatic cliffs, and the endless ocean. They have become an inseparable part of the local landscape, creating that unique atmosphere that makes people fall in love with the Faroe Islands.

- Who’s traveling with us?People with a similar approach to life. No random acquaintances. They value comfort, excitement, calm, and a high standard in everything. If someone falls out of the rhythm, their participation in the trip may be discontinued. The journey is meant to create a feeling. The people around you support it.

Option 1
If paying 120 days before the trip, the amount can be split into 3 installments. Initial payment — 30% to confirm the booking.
Option 2
Two payments: 50% to confirm and 50% 60 days before the trip.
Option 3
Full payment in a single transaction.
- Cancellation and refunds?The default rate is non-refundable. However, we always do our best to return whatever is realistically possible if the trip doesn’t happen.
- Number of participants?Up to 10 participants. We prefer small group trips.
- Is it possible to travel with children?Our trips are 18+. If a child is younger but has experience with active travel, exceptions may be possible.
- Is single occupancy available?Single occupancy is available. The manager will provide the pricing.
- Are the travel dates not suitable for me, or is it possible to organize an individual tour?Yes, of course. We’ll help organize the trip at a time that’s convenient for you.
