Trip highlight
Off-road into the heart of the island
We don’t like sharing beautiful places with crowds. And we don’t like watching nature from the sidelines, from a paved path.
That’s why we go deeper. That’s where Iceland reveals its true self — wild, untouched, with that Arctic power that fills you with energy. We love it exactly this way.
This is our place of power. And we want you to experience it too.
Accommodation

Greta and Steinar bought this farm in 2020 — making a dream they had carried for years come true. Horses have always been their life, so the farm became all about them: breeding, a training centre, and Iceland’s only horse swimming pool. Plus two cats. And the neighbours’ goats and dogs, who regularly stop by for a visit.
Greta designed the cottages herself — inspired by the style of Nordic houses from the late 19th century. They were built by local craftsmen, with the windows, doors, and steel cladding all made here in Iceland. This is how they have been building for decades — because only this way can they withstand Iceland’s harsh weather.

The hotel is run by a local family who was born here. They personally take guests to the glacier and create the menu themselves — depending on what comes from nearby farms and what local fishermen catch in the morning. Built from wood, with floor-to-ceiling windows so nothing stands between you and the mountains.
Outside, there are hot tubs and a sauna, with a cold plunge nearby. You sit in warm water with a glacier right in front of you. After a day on the ice, it’s exactly what you need.
*Throughout the entire journey — accommodation in double cottages and rooms.
A Taste of Iceland

For centuries, Icelanders ate what could survive the winter: dried fish, smoked meat, fermented food. A cuisine without decoration, because there was nothing to decorate with.
Today, something unexpected has grown from it. Tomatoes ripen in greenhouses heated by the earth. Lamb that spent the entire summer roaming freely through the mountains has a taste you won’t find anywhere else. Fish arrives from the ocean the very same morning.
We have lunch in an old cowshed on a working farm, where cows stand behind glass and ice cream is made from fresh morning milk. We have dinner in the very first house of a small town by the river. In a fishing village beneath a glacier, we eat langoustines that were pulled from the sea just hours earlier. We drink coffee in an old school bus transformed into a coffee roastery.
Every place has been personally selected — for its taste, its character, and its story.

Why Iceland?
Where the land of fire and ice begins…

Nowhere else does all of this exist on one island: glaciers, volcanoes, black beaches, and hot springs — all within a day’s drive.
But that’s not what keeps you here. It’s the space. You can drive for an hour — no cars, no houses. Just nature, with you somewhere in the middle of it. You never get used to it: every time you stop just to stand there, breathe, and look around.
