Mount Agung (3,031 m) is the highest peak in Bali and a sacred volcano for the locals. It is considered the center of the island’s spiritual power.
Agung is an active volcano, with the last significant eruption occurring in 2017-2019. Its steep slopes and difficult terrain make the climb a real challenge, but the top offers fantastic views of the entire island, neighboring Lombok, and even Mount Rinjani.
It’s not an easy but fascinating route that will give you a unique experience.
